Maharashtra University and Microsoft India have also signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) under which the two organizations will explore tech solutions via HoloLens 2 to better healthcare delivery, mixed reality solutions for proctoring doctors, to build training content for doctors, nurses, and even staff.
How Microsoft is going to help MUHS?
There is a year-long collaboration agreement between MUHS and Microsoft which includes the development of any solution by Maharashtra University would be under the innovation lab. Along with this, Microsoft will also arrange tools and technologies required to build applications related to the assignment on Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure, collaboration suite, DevOps, Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Augmented Reality (AR), Analytics, Machine Learning (ML), Virtual reality, and Mixed reality. Corporate vice president of mixed reality at Microsoft, Ruben Caballero says that the company is excited to work with MUHS and expand access to healthcare services and medical education using the latest technologies. Hon’ble VC MUHS Lt Gen DR Madhuri Kanitkar (Retd) says the MUHS is on a way to new vistas and new visions. And they are delighted to collaborate with tech giant Microsoft for using mixed reality and achieving the unachieved. Before this collaboration, even one of the biggest streaming platforms, Netflix, partnered with Microsoft for its first-ever ad-supported subscription plan. Under this collaboration, Netflix chose the tech giant as its global advertising technology and sales partner.
